RICK OWENS “TECUATL” SS2020

For most people notice Rick Owens as the most influential avant-garde designer in the current fashion industry. Lately, he introduced his new collection of “TECUATL” at Paris fashion week. Rick Owens SS20 collection inspired by his own Mexican heritage with collection. The collection named “TECUATL” after his mother’s maiden name.

The collection continuing Rick Owens’ aesthetic, black oversize coat, mountain hood top. Within these garments we have seen before, he introduced baggy trousers, long trench coat, and leather blazers in this collection. This collection also shows the first collaboration with Champion, by using Champion’s sports clothes, and reinterpret to togas, and loincloths with a color Champion logo.

For color of this collection, Rick Owens introduced a new color way for his label. Besides continuing Rick’s aesthetic by using natural colors; glittery gold, and metallic color bring to fashion lovers a new vision of Rick Owens.
